Dr. Josh Diamond was born and raised in Lexington. Two generations of Diamonds - Josh's grandfather, father and uncle - have all worked in the Chevy Chase area, helming Papa Diamond's Mustache barber shop since it opened in 1973.
A life-long soccer player, he was a member of the 1991 state championship varsity team at Henry Clay High School, where he went on to play at Brescia University in Owensboro. In his free time, Josh continues to play soccer, golfs and enjoys running.
A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where he met his wife, Rana, Josh is a member of the American Dental Association, the Kentucky Dental Association, the Bluegrass Dental Study Club and the American Academy of General Dentistry.

Born and raised in Lebanon, Dr. Rana Zakharia Diamond moved to Kentucky with her family in 1996 where she attended Dunbar High School. Since then, her family has embraced their new home in Lexington, proudly owning and operating the Beaumont-area Roly Poly sandwich shop for 17 years. She is also an active member of St. Andrew Orthodox Church.
Rana attended the University of Kentucky where she earned an undergraduate degree in Biology, followed by her DMD in Dentistry. She is fluent in both English and Arabic, and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Kentucky Dental Association, the Bluegrass Dental Study Club and the American Academy of General Dentistry.
Though Rana sees patients of all ages, her favorites tend to be the littlest family members. "I think it's important to instill good oral health habits at an early age whenever possible," she says. Rana's ability to keep kids at ease while providing friendly - yet efficient - care is her secret to keeping the little ones happy. "My goal is to make them comfortable enough while they are in my chair that they actually look forward to our visits."
